If you've been watching our blog of late, you know that's we've been keeping a close eye on all that Subaru has been doing to go green and make strides to combat waste and climate change. Well, we're delighted to report that Subaru Park near Philadelphia recently achieved its goal of reaching zero landfill status.

Now, sporting events typically generate quite a bit of waste, but in achieving zero landfill status, all the waste generated at MLS games at Subaru Park will be either reduces, reused, or in many cases, recycled. In fact, within an average year, it's expected that over 350,000 pounds will be diverted from landfills by this initiative at Subaru Park.
