Earlier this year, Subaru introduced the 2018 Legacy midsize sedan to the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. The 2018 Legacy, which will be available later this summer, offers drivers revised styling and significant comfort, safety and multimedia capability upgrades.
The 2018 Legacy comes in a 2.5i model that features a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder BOXER engine or a 3.6R model that offers a 3.6-liter 6-cylinder BOXER engine (available for the Limited trim only). Both engines are mated to a standard Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with manual mode and paddle shift controls. All trims offer standard all-wheel drive and active torque vectoring, which means the Legacy is the only midsize sedan to offer all-wheel drive standard on all models.
The interior showcases a redesigned center console with standard 6.5-inch or available 8-inch display screens, Subaru Starlink multimedia system, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility and much more. Enjoy such safety features as blind spot detection/rear cross traffic alert, steering responsive headlights, reverse automatic braking, tire pressure monitoring system, eyesight driver assist technology and much more.
