There's been a lot of buzz around this year's New York International Auto Show, and Subaru recently leveraged that excitement to benefit animals in need. By hosting a Subaru Loves Pets event at its booth, the Subaru Brand assisted in the adoption of shelter animals and helped raise quite a bit of money for local animal welfare organizations.

Subaru has been running its Subaru Loves Pets event for the past two years, and last year was by far its most successful yet. With tens of thousands of pets adopted and well over $1.64 million raised for local humane shelters, Subaru has gone a long way to help deserving pets find their forever homes.

Even though its more popular these days, humane societies and pet adoption centers face an uphill battle to find suitable homes for the animals in their care, and particularly dogs with special needs. Luckily, Subaru stepped in to help last year, assisting animal shelters across the nation to find loving homes for over 20,000 pets.

Subaru of America has reached record sales figures this July. Sales for July of 2017 topped sales during July of 2016 by seven percent. Subaru of America also achieved an impressive sixty-eight consecutive months of growth. Nice!
