Tips on How to Replace a Tire

Replacing a flat tire with a spare is actually easier than you might think. When you’re in on-the-go, you can get a spare on quickly in order to safely travel down the road.

Focus on getting all of the tools that you need to do the job. This includes a jack, a lug wrench, and the spare tire. If it’s at night, you should have a flashlight and some emergency warning devices, too. It will make it easier for other drivers to see you when you’re on the side of the road.

The lug wrench is used to loosen and tighten the jacks. All loosening and tightening should be done before you jack up the vehicle. Once the lug nuts are loose, jack up the car. Remove the nuts and the wheel. Then, carefully remove the tire with both hands. Once that’s done, replace it with the spare and get the lug nuts back into position.
